This weekend marked a historical moment in Nepali music. For the first time in Nepal, renowned musicians of several popular Nepali bands came together as Project One, the grandest musical collaboration yet in Nepali music, to perform at the Arna Project One Live In Kathmandu- Pheri Uthney Chha Nepal- IV concert at Jawalakhel ground as part of the “Pheri uthne chha Nepal" concert tour. The Project One line up consists of vocalists Mukti Shakya of Mukti & Revival, Robin Tamang of Robin & The New Revolution, Swapnil Sharma of The Shadows ‘Nepal’, Niran Shahi of Anuprastha; guitarists Hari Maharjan - former Lead Guitarist of Nepathya and Hari Maharjan Project, Sarad Shrestha - former Lead Guitarist of The Axe and Tumbleweed; bassist Roshan Kansakar of Newaz; and drummer Nikhil Tuladhar - former drummer of Nepathya and Kanta Dab Dab.Project One is a creative initiative that seeks to foster the feeling of unity and solidarity among all Nepalis through popular music so that we can present a united Nepali front against all political and social problems and natural disasters that plague Nepal. The concert saw the musicians performing together as one band, playing and singing each other’s hit numbers and entertaining the lively crowd that had gathered to see all their favourite musicians and band perform together on one stage. There was a strange energy in the air during the concert, which is the fourth in the series; all thanks to the power of music and synergy among all musicians, who have started this amazing musical legacy for the first time in Nepal to bring all Nepalis together for mutual growth and harmony. We wish Project One all the very best. We would like to to be part of their concerts and tours in upcoming years
