This weekend, on the seductively luminous full moon night of March 31 Saturday, we made our way to Yala Mandala to pour some moonshine on our weekend mood. We sat beside the bonfire, with good friends and delectable food by our side, accompanied by some classical Nepali music in the background.Performing live were sarod maestro Suresh Raj Bajracharya, violin and sarangi expert Bikash Nath Yogi and, tabala and madal genius Laxmi Dangol. The night was a musical ode to the beginning of spring and a legit excuse to sway along to the good live music at Yala Mandala, an artisan village comprising a gallery, art collective and handicraft hub.
