Travelling for business or leisure comes with its own fair share of dressing and packing drama. Thus, preparation is key, and we’re happy to help y’all do just that.

1. Travel light

First things first. Be sensible about your wardrobe choices. Anything too thick or synthetic will be a nightmare while in transit. Opt for breathable fabrics that have natural anti-microbial properties to eliminate odour and repel dust. We highly recommend linen, bamboo or hemp, as well as lightweight cotton or wool blends.

2. Keep it simple

The lesser the fuss, the better—which means packing sensibly so that you can easily switch an item or two for a new look. Tailored chinos make for a smart casual option. Swap them for a pair of those tailored suit pants and voila! You have a new look. In lieu of a tie, pack a lightweight scarf. Layered under the lapel of your suit jacket, the scarf will give your look that much-needed flair and elegance.

3. Stay classy

Finally, it’s easier and far more comfortable to travel in a single-breasted suit that allows for better movement and comfort. Likewise, it’s safe to lose the tie because your suit and shirt combo will still look elegant without being too constricted. And it’s here that darker colours, like navy and grey, help create a formal tone without your having to worry about full formal decorum.
